Product Description
KEMET's MS/MD Series of aluminium electrolytic capacitors are designed to withstand the AC voltage applied to the motor during starting. They are intended for intermittent duty only (the capacitor is not permanently connected to the winding of the motor and is usually switched off automatically after starting). Specifically designed for AC operation, they feature either double anode or O-style (double anode and floating cathode) windings, which are housed in a moulded plastic case. KEMET's MD Series is VDE approved to IEC 60252-2 for the defined ratings.
Temperature range
MD (Dual voltage rating) -20°C to +70°C; MS (Single voltage rating) -20°C to +60°C.
