Product Overview
The MAX4511ESE+ is a quad, rail to rail, fault protected, SPST analogue switch in 16 pin NSOIC package. This switch has fault protected inputs and rail to rail signal handling capability, this traditional fault protected CMOS analogue switch with unusual operation is constructed by three series FETs. The device is pin compatible with industry standard DG201 and DG411 and terminals are protected from overvoltage faults up to ±36V during power-up and power-down. It is used in communication systems, data acquisition, avionics and redundant/backup systems.
- Supply voltage range is 9V to 36V, ±4.5V to ±18V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- No power supply sequencing required
- All switches off with power off
- Output clamped to appropriate supply voltage during fault condition, no transition glitch
- Maximum signal path with ±15V supplies is 175ohm
- Four normally closed (NC) switches
- Fault protection with power off is ±40V
- Fault protection with ±15V supplies is ±36V
- TTL and CMOS compatible logic inputs
