Product Overview
The MAX1272EUA+ is a fault-protected, 12bit ADC with software selectable input range in 8 pin µMAX package. This software programmable analogue input accepts a variety of voltage ranges ±10V, ±5V, 0 to 10V, 0 to 5V. The software selectable extended analogue input range increases the effective dynamic range to 14bits and provides the flexibility to interface 4mA-20mA powered sensors directly to a single 5V system. It provides fault protection to ±12V, include a 5MHz track/hold (T/H) bandwidth, 87Ksps throughput rate and internal (4.096V) or external (2.40V to 4.18V) reference. It has four software programmable power-down modes (delayed standby, immediate standby, delayed full power down and immediate full power-down) provides low-current shutdown between conversions. It is used in data-acquisition systems and automatic testing.
