Product Description

The new addition to the LaunchPad family, MSP-EXP430FR5969 is an easy-to-use Texas Instruments MSP430 ULP (ultra-low power) FRAM LaunchPad.
It's a development platform that combines embedded FRAM and holistic ultra low-power system architecture, helps to enhance the performance at lowered energy budgets, minimises product size and enables a battery-free world.

The MSP430FR5969 MCU, combined with the benefits of ultra-low power and non-volatile FRAM, makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications like metering, consumer electronics and unconventionally powered sensors.
It comes with all the essentials to give out-of-the-box development support for the MSP430's ULP FRAM platform, including on-board emulation for programming, debugging and Energy Measurements.

The board features on-board buttons and LEDs for quick integration of a simple user interface as well as a SuperCap allowing standalone applications without an external power supply.

MSP430 ULP FRAM technology 16-bit MSP430FR5969 MCU, 64KB FRAM / 2KB SRAM, 16-bit RISC Architecture up to 8-MHz FRAM access/ 16MHz system clock speed. Analogue: 16-channel 12-bit differential ADC, 16-channel Comparator.

Ecosystem

20 pin LaunchPad standard leveraging the BoosterPack ecosystem, 0.1F SuperCap for standalone power.

Interface

Onboard eZ-FET emulation, two buttons and two LEDs for User Interaction, Back-channel UART via USB to PC.
