Coming from TE Connectivity are the Spec 44® Spec 55® and Spec 100® ranges of High Performance wires.
Spec 44® features a dual-wall radiation cross-linked polyalkene and polyvinylidene fluoride coating. It is used extensively throughout industry in commercial and military electronics avionics satellites aircraft helicopters ships trains military ground systems and offshore platforms. This high performance wire is small lightweight and flexible.
Spec 55®'s coating consists of modified radiation cross-linked ETFE polymer. It offers easy handling and is flexible with excellent scrape abrasion and cut-through characteristics. Its single-wall construction is used throughout industry.
Applications include commercial wiring avionics satellites aircraft helicopters and high performance military systems or where there is a demand for reliable performance.
Spec 100® is flexible with good fluid resistance. Its dual-wall combination of halogen-free polymers meets the specification requirements of VG 95218 Part 20 Type E whilst maintaining the desirable features.
