Product Description
Molex’s SpeedStack Mezzanine Connector System is ideal for space-constrained designs with limited PCB real estate.
The connector system delivers a high-density low-profile solution with data rates up to 40 Gbps per differential pair ideal for OEMs of networking telecom and medical equipment with space constraints.
It is particularly suited to space-constrained designs with limited PCB real estate as the low-profile ergonomic narrow housing design minimally obstructs airflow to promote system cooling.
Particular strengths of the Speedstack system are the 4mm stack height compared with the 5mm of competing products and the data rate of up to 40Gbps compared with competing products at 28Gbps.

Robust design
The insert-moulded wafer design with protected shrouded housing provides support to the terminal location. This improves electrical balance within the signals for low-profile high-density systems.
Future proofing
The 85 Ohm versions in development will support PCIe Generation (Gen) 3.0 and Intel QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) requirements for next-generation I/O and memory signalling.
