Product Overview

The MCP1407-E/P is a high speed non inverting power MOSFET driver in 8 pin DIP package. This MOSFET driver features single output with 6A peak drive current capability, low shoot through current, matched rise/fall times and propagation delay times. The MCP1407 can easily charge and discharge 2500pF gate capacitance in 20ns and provides low enough impedances to ensure that intended state of MOSFETs will not be affected even by large transients. The input to MCP1407 may be driven directly from either TTL or CMOS (3V to 18V). This device is highly latch up resistant under any conditions within their power and voltage ratings. This driver is will not get damage when up to 5V of noise spiking (of either polarity) occurs on ground pin. It is pin compatible and improved versions of TC4420/TC4429 MOSFET drivers.
