Product Description

Ideal for many industrial applications Vybrid controller solutions are built on an asymmetrical-multiprocessing architecture. ARM® cores are the heart of the platform utilizing a range of ARM Cortex processors from single-core ARM® Cortex™-A5 core to dual-core Cortex-A5 + Cortex™-M4 MCU. To facilitate evaluation and development on Vybrid devices, the TWR-VF65GS10 processor module operates as a standalone debug tool or as part of an assembled Tower System development platform.

This system is build with industrial applications in mind, in particular where there is a requirement for:

  • Critical safety and security
  • Connectivity
  • Rich HMI
  • Real-time control

The Vybrid F Series brings a variety of devices to suit every situation. At entry level Vybrid provides a low-power, single-core solution for applications processing. While, should you need something more refined Vybrid provides a highly integrated, heterogenous dual-core MPU for applications requiring rich human-machine interfaces and connectivity with real-time determinism.

From this platform you will be able to create systems that concurrently run high-level operating systems such as Linux® and real-time operating systems such as MQX on the same device.

Each Vybrid F Series device offers a total system solution including:

Unique heterogeneous architecture with apps processor to run high-level OS (i.e. Linux) and control processor to run RTOS (i.e. MQX)

Ability to segment tasks that need predictable latencies to execute on Cortex-M4 and execute graphical and connectivity tasks on Cortex-A5

Error Correction Code (ECC) on-chip SRAM, DDR controller and NAND flash controller

Secure boot and cryptographic algorithm acceleration for sensitive applications.

Multimedia hardware IP that offloads pixels processing from the cores.

Real time sub-system including PWM and ADC for motor control.
