Product Overview

The PR02 series from Vishay automotive grade power metal film leaded resistors. The resistance range includes E24, E96 decade values from 0.33ohm to 1Mohm. A homogeneous film of metal alloy is deposited on a high grade ceramic body. After a helical groove has been cut in the resistive layer, tinned connecting wires of electrolytic copper (Cu-lead) is welded to the end-caps. The resistors are coated with a red, non flammable lacquer which provides electrical, mechanical and climatic protection. This coating is not resistant to aggressive fluxes and cleaning solvents. Typical applications include all general purpose power applications, automotive electronics and lighting ballast.
  • Automotive grade AEC-Q200 qualified
  • DIN size is 0411
  • Meets active and passive flammability requirements as defined in IEC 60115-1
  • Available in ±1% and ±5% resistance tolerance values
  • Temperature coefficient is ±250ppm/K
  • Rated power dissipation is 2W(1ohm less than or equal to R), 1.2W(R less than 1ohm)
  • Thermal resistance is 75K/W
  • Operating voltage is 500V
