Product Overview

The Vishay HV high voltage series are surface mount multilayer ceramic chip capacitors with X7R dielectric. The capacitance range includes 180pF to 15nF. These multilayer ceramic chip capacitors are used for high voltage applications. They have excellent reliability and thermal shock performance. These capacitors can be used as include input filter capacitors, output filter capacitors, snubber capacitors to reduce MOSFET voltage spikes and filtering for switching power supplies.

  • High reliable serial electrode design
  • Protective surface coating may be required to prevent surface arcing
  • Wet build process and Ni barrier 100% tin plated matte finish
  • Reliable noble metal electrode (NME) system
  • EIA 1812, 1825, 2220, 2225 case sizes available
  • Available with 3000VDC, 4000VDC and 5000VDC voltages
  • Temperature coefficient of capacitance (TCC) is ±15% from -55°C to +125°C with 0 VDC applied
  • Available with ±5%, ±10% and ±20% capacitance tolerance
  • Operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C
