Product Description
TTAB bring you the patented Screen Trap™ MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Backshells, now with the patented Screen Trap™ backshell which provides a simplified method of grounding over all shields.
MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Backshells are designed for high reliability applications, such as defence and aerospace, and provide you with simple assembly, with requirement for tooling, easy repair and extremely effective RFI/EMI and environmental protection. Constructed from durable aluminium with olive drab cadmium plating the connector is secured between a male and female thread providing a good bonding joint plus impressive environmental protection while the fast termination results in lower installation costs than other backshells.
All Screen Trap™ adaptors are capable of terminating single, double or optimised screens making the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Backshells ideal wherever RFI, EMI, EMP, Tempest or HIRF conditions apply. While simple assembly, fast termination and easy repairs save you time, money and effort while this proven and patented design provides you with peace of mind.

With a simple male & female thread connection MIL-DTL38999 Series III connectors with Screen Trap™ Backshells means incredibly simple assembly with no need for tooling and simple repairs.

Originally designed and proven by TTe New Chapel Electronics the Screen Trap backshell is cover by the following patents GB2427079B, GB2427080B, GB2427081B with other patents pending.
