Product Overview
MPC5744P development kit for 3-phase PMSM. This motor control development kit is ideal for applications requiring one PMSM motor, such as power steering or electric powertrain. Designed to enable rapid prototyping and evaluation of the motor control application early in the design process. Includes a 32-bit NXP MPC5744P MCU based controller board and the 3-phase low-voltage power stage board. Application software that provides a complete reference implementation of the PMSM motor control application and takes advantage of the automotive math and motor control library set. Target applications includes permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM).
- 32bit Power Architecture® based MPC5744P ultra-reliable MCU
- MC33937 3-phase field effect transistor pre-driver
- FS6500: grade 1 and grade 0 safety power SBC
- DC-bus overvoltage, overcurrent and under-voltage and stall fault detection
- JTAG and NEXUS debug connector
- Supports low voltage PMSM motors with a resolver position sensor
- ANSI-C based example SW created in S32 design studio for Power Architecture®
- MCAT tool 1.1 part of software package
