Product Overview

The P6KE62A from Multicomp Pro is a P6KE series unidirectional transient voltage suppressor in DO-15 package. It has low leakage current, excellent clamping capability and low zener impedance. The device exceeds environmental standards of MIL-STD-19500. The leads are pure tin plated and solderable per MIL-STD-202, method 208.
  • UL94-V0 rated moulded plastic case
  • Minimum peak power dissipation of 600W at TA = 25°C, TP = 1ms and nominal voltage of 62V
  • Peak forward surge current of 100A (8.3ms single half sine wave super imposed on rated load
  • Steady state power dissipation (PM(AV)) of 5W at TL = 75°C
  • Operating temperature range from -55°C to +150°C
  • Reverse stand-off voltage (VR) of 53V and maximum reverse leakage current (IR) of 5?A
  • Breakdown voltage (VBR) of 58.9V (minimum), 65.1V (maximum) and test current ( IT) of 1mA
  • 85V maximum clamping voltage (Vc) and 7.1A maximum peak pulse (Ipp) current
  • Less than 1ps fast response time from 0V to VBR and 0.104mV/°C maximum voltage temperature variation
  • Maximum instantaneous forward voltage of 3.5V at 50A
