TT Electronics CR Series CECC-Approved SMD Resistors

TT Electronics' Welwyn CR series is a high reliability thick film chip resistor.
It is manufactured in the UK under a tightly controlled process and is used in military and aerospace sectors and critical applications including trans-oceanic cable repeaters and medical monitors.

Under typical application conditions with low applied power, CR series offers FIT < 0.1 x 10-9 h-1, based on ongoing lot testing. These products are released to CECC 40401-003/4/8 giving the assurance of manufacturing and lot release procedures which are subject to third party audit.
The range offers values from 1R0 to 47M in 1% tolerance with a TCR for values of 10R and above of 100ppm/°C. The 0805 size is rated at 125mW, 100V and the 1206 size at 250mW, 200V and the operating temperature range is -55 to +155°C. The thick film material used to form the resistive element is processed to give typical full load stability at 1000 hours of 0.25%, whilst the typical stability with negligible load at 12 months is 0.02%.
