The MKR WAN 1300 is a versatile board that combines the functionality of the MKR Zero with LoRa connectivity. A powerful and effective solution that requires minimal networking experience to add LoRa wireless communication to compact, low power IoT devices.
  • Provides a wide range of I/O interfaces ideal for compact ,battery powered projects
  • Supports Arduino Software IDE for programming
  • Includes the ability to power the board using two AA/AAA batteries or external 5V, with switching between sources done automatically
  • The USB port can be used to supply power (5V) to the board
  • The MKR WAN 1300 has limited power consumption and is able to run with or without the batteries connected
  • 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+
  • 256KB Flash memory, 32KB SRAM
  • Digital I/O pins: 8
  • Analogue I/O pins: 7/1
  • Interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART
  • Operating voltage: 3.3V

Warnings

Warning: The MKR WAN 1300 runs at 3.3V, and maximum voltage that the I/O pins can tolerate is 3.3V. Applying voltages higher than 3.3V to any I/O pin could damage the board. Bidirectional communication with 5V devices needs proper level shifting.
