Product Overview

The ADUM1301ARWZ is a triple channel digital isolator in 16 pin WSOIC package. This isolator is based on Analog Devices iCoupler technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technology, this isolation component provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocouplers. By avoiding use of LEDs and photodiodes, iCoupler devices remove design difficulties commonly associated with optocouplers. The ADUM1301ARWZ isolator provides three independent isolation channels. It operates with supply voltage on either side ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across isolation barrier. It provides low pulse width distortion and tight channel to channel matching. The ADUM1301ARWZ has patented refresh feature that ensures DC correctness in absence of input logic transitions and when power is not applied to one of the supplies.
  • Maximum data rate of 1Mbps
  • Maximum propagation delay of 100ns
  • Maximum pulse width distortion of 40ns
  • Bidirectional communication
  • 3V/5V level translation
  • High common mode transient immunity of greater than 25KV/µs
  • Output enable function
  • UL, CSA, VDE, TUV approved
  • Supply voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V
  • Operating temperature range from -40°C to 105°C
