Product Overview

The HVR25 series from Vishay are high ohmic, high voltage metal film leaded resistors. A homogenous film of metal alloy is deposited on a high grade ceramic body. After a helical groove has been cut in the resistive layer, tinned electrolytic copper wires are welded to the end-caps. The resistors are coated with a blue, non-flammable lacquer which provides electrical, mechanical and climatic protection. Typical applications include power supplies, electronic ballast, white goods and television.
  • Resistance range includes E24, E96 decade values from 100Kohm to 10Mohm
  • 0.25W rated dissipation
  • ±5%, ±1% resistance tolerances
  • Temperature coefficient of 200ppm/K
  • 55/155/56 climatic category
  • Small size
  • High pulse loading (up to 10KV) capability
  • Maximum permissible voltage (Umax) is 1600VDC, 1150Vrms
  • High voltage resistor
