The A1080-A is GPS module developed for indoor use and based on the SiRF Star III low power chip, The A1080-A will benchmark not only sensitivity and power consumption, Being 100% compatible to Tyco Electronics A1037-A GPS module it will guarantee smallest footprint and easy implementation even in handheld devices and other size optimised battery powered application. It offers a small footprint and its design supports fast integration. Half-vias allow for easy AOI during the assembly process. Just connect an antenna and a power supply to receive your position. Fastest start-up behaviour and various power save modes additionally contribute to the extension on lifetime of battery powered devices.
