Product Overview

The DC823B-B demonstration circuit features LTM4600HVEV high efficiency, high density DC to DC µModule regulator. The LTM4600HVEV is a complete 10A, DC to DC step down power supply with up to 28V input operation. Included in the IC package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductor and all support components. The low profile package (2.8mm) enables utilization of unused space on the bottom of PC boards for high density point of load regulation. High switching frequency and an adaptive ontime current mode architecture enables a very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability. The input voltage is from 4.5V to 28V. The output voltage is programmable from 0.6V to 5V. The rated load current is 10A, while derating is necessary for different VIN, VOUT and thermal conditions. Integrated input and output filters enable a simple PCB layout. Only bulk input and output capacitors are needed.
