Product Description

Laird Technologies BT730 series Bluetooth® modules add robust, long-range Bluetooth data connectivity to any device. Based on market-leading Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR) BC04 chipset, they are able to provide outstanding Class 1 range while maintaining exceptionally low power consumption via 18 dBm of transmit power. This impressive range comes in an incredibly small package with the BT730 boasting a compact footprint of 15.29 x 28.71 mm.

The inclusion of a complete Bluetooth v2.0 protocol stack allows the BT730 series to support multi-point connections and numerous Bluetooth profiles, including:

  • Serial Port Profile (SPP)
  • Dial Up Networking (DUN)
  • FTP Client plus partial support for Headset (HSP)
  • HandsFree (HFP)

A low-cost developer’s kit and integrated AT command processor makes for ultra fast development and extremely short integration times, guaranteeing the fastest possible route to prototype and production.

BT730 modules are fully qualified as a Bluetooth End Products, enabling the modules to be easily integrated into devices without the need for further Bluetooth Qualification.

Ultra Fast Development

Low-cost developer’s kit and integrated AT command processor abstracts the Bluetooth protocol from the host application, saving many months of programming and integration time

Tiny Footprint, Great Power

With a footprint of only 15.29 x 28.71 mm the BT730 is able to maintain Class 1 range via 18 dBm of transmit power

Multiple Profiles

BT730 supports numerous Bluetooth profiles including Serial Port Profile (SPP), Dial Up Networking (DUN), FTP Client plus partial support for Headset (HSP) and HandsFree (HFP)
