Product Overview

The MD-ISK-S05-1000-P5-I is a 0.5mm IEC type-K Mineral Insulated Thermocouple with threaded pots and tails. The sensor made of nickel chromium/nickel aluminum body and flexible mineral insulated probe with 310 stainless steel sheath with M8 x 1mm fine pitch threaded pot seal and tails. It features single element junction insulated from sheath (offers protection against spurious electrical signals). The material is good corrosion and oxidation resistance to suit a wide range of processes, satisfactorily operates in sulphur bearing atmospheres. Typical applications include brick and cement kilns, glass industry, heat treatment and annealing furnaces, power stations, flues and heat exchangers. The highly flexible, sheath can be bent/formed to suit many applications and processes.
