TI’s CC3200 Launchpad is the industry’s first single-chip programmable microcontroller with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.
As a development platform created for the Internet of Things (IoT), the SimpleLink™ CC3200 device is a wireless MCU that integrates a high-performance ARM® Cortex™-M4 MCU, allowing customers to develop an entire application with a single IC.

The board features on-board emulation using an FTDI device and has temperature sensors and a 3-axis accelerometer for a full out-of-the-box experience.
Traditional Wi-Fi solutions are designed for powerful microprocessors. CC3200 undertakes nearly all the functions required for Wi-Fi and networking, thereby taking the strain off the host processor.

With a Wi-Fi network processor containing on-chip WLAN and TCP/IP stack, as well as the SimpleLink connection manager, Embedded Crypto engine with 256-bit encryption, WPA personal and enterprise security, the CC3100 and 3200 make Wi-Fi design easy.

CC3200 LaunchPad comes with driver support and an SDK with 40+ applications for Wi-Fi protocols, internet applications and MCU peripheral examples along with user guides, design files, peripheral, and API guides.
