The Agilent Technologies development pipeline is driven by the principle of combining disparate technologies, in order to create entirely new applications in electronics, chemistry and life sciences. This has defined the company's progress since their inception in 1999 as a spun-off venture from HP, a company whose own roots stretch back to 1939.
Agilent Technologies are headquartered in Santa Clara in California, with a workforce of over 20,000 employees in more than 100 countries. They hold a globally leading position in the electronics testing and measurement segment, where the brand manufacture test probes and cables, multimeters and oscilloscopes, data acquisition devices and calibration tools.
