Freescale TWR-K64F120M: Kinetis K64 MCU Module

The TWR-K64F120M is a development board for the Kinetis K series of ARM Cortex-M4 MCUs.

  • Low-power MCUs at 120 MHz with FPU, up to 1 MB Flash and up to 256 KB SRAM
  • Onboard open-standard serial and debug adaptor (OpenSDA)
  • Three-axis accelerometer (MMA8451Q)  and four user-controlled status LEDs
  • Potentiometer, SD card socket and coin cell battery holder
  • Pushbuttons for GPIO interrupts and MCU reset

Product Description

The TWR-K64F120M MCU module is designed to work either in standalone mode or as part of the Freescale Tower System, a modular development platform that enables rapid prototyping and tool re-use through reconfigurable hardware.

It features the Kinetis MK64FN1M0VMD12 low-power MCU with 1MB Flash, 256 KB SRAM, USB and Ethernet MAC. Optimised for cost-sensitive applications requiring processing efficiency and low power, the new Kinetis K64 MCU family supports crystal-less USB design for reduced system cost and board space.

The Kinetis K64 MCU family expands the Kinetis K series with eight low-power ARM Cortex-M4 based MCUs while keeping full software, hardware and development tool compatibility.
The K64 family offers up to 1 MB of flash memory and 256 KB SRAM. Package options include 100 and 144 LQFP and 121 and 144 MAPBGA.
